  So glad to see others have had to endure the security here also.... My husband was waiting for us (his wife and 11 yeae old son) by the vegetables in the entrance. He thought he was being watched and walked up and down a few of the isles only to be followed by two security guards one at each end of the isle. Telling himself he was being paranoid he went back to the entrance where we then joined him from another shop We are a mixed race family. He then mentioned the situation to me and we laughed it off and thought nothing of it until I became consious of what he was talking about. The Female African security gaurd jobsworth proceeded to follow us through the whole supermarket. Stopping when we stopped and suddenly appearing from round the corner when we moved isle. Making us feel extremely anxious, unfcomfortable and upsetting our son. Upon going to the till to pay my husband confronted her. She said she didn’t know what he was talking about and when we asked to speak to the manager disappeared. The manager was thick as two planks and not much help. The other two security gaurds denied it also but it was obvious they knew exactly what we were talking about!! A thoroughly unpleasant experience and we will be making a fornal complaint to Sainsburys.

  Polite staff at the check out counters. Managers are rude and behave like they own the place. Take it or get out attitude. Not much help available if you’re trying to find something. However, decently stocked for a wide variety of items.
