  Having read some of the reviews I was expecting the worst! I was pleasantly surprised. I was seated within 5min of arriving, our waitress was efficient and pleasant and the food was fine ( we ordered the traditional afternoon tea and although I've had better high teas, they also cost a lot more) ! It's value for money and I would definitely return.

  Although the food was delicious, the staff ignored us. We waited 20minutes for the bill until we decided to leave without paying. It was only later after filing a complaint we’d been told we had the meal for free. While this was a very nice gesture, the staff should have informed us. Particularly the tall man we approached decided to ignore us when we asked for the bill. It’s worth mentioning we had a table right next to the till. If the staff undergoes some essential training possibly a change, I’ll be happy to come back as the cakes were really delicious.
