  Seems odd to rate a supermarket. Here goes. This Morrisons is one of the better supermarkets. It has an extensive international section, a broad veggie / free-from section (much better than rivals in the same class) and everyone seems very friendly. Bakery, fishmongers, etc. Finally, the café is from around 1998 which is always fun!

  For a building dedicated to exchanging goods for money Morrison's Stratford is surprisingly bad at being a supermarket. They are forever running out of carrier bags, baskets and basic groceries. I mean who runs a shop and forgets to stock carrier bags?! Shopping at the weekend is just hopeless. The place is packed, clotted with shoppers with neither spatial awareness nor common sense. NO YOUR FAMILY OF FIVE CANNOT CANNOT HAVE A TEN MINUTE DISCUSSION IN FRONT OF THE BAKED BEANS. THOSE BEANS ARE FOR EVERYONE. The worst times seem to be Saturdays, Sundays and weekdays between the hours of 8am to 10pm. So: all of the times. Staff do mean well, though - so I am willing to give at least a star.
