  Despite paying £5000 for the service we were left feeling bitterly disappointed. Key elements were not delivered as promised and we were left shocked that a company so unprofessional is still in business. We chose Medina Events over the competition because they promised us a "halo" which was supposed to serve as the centre piece of the main stage. To our horror and dismay, come wedding night the halo was nowhere to be seen. This was just one of a long string of problems and mishaps - the phrase comedy of errors comes to mind. We received feedback from our guests about the cheap looking stage which was jarring in the setting of our otherwise lavish venue the Meridian Grande. The mirror on stage was broken and has ruined our wedding pictures, making a mockery of what should be a perfect background for photos. The events organiser himself Arfan applied a lot of pressure on us to take the deal, repeatedly stating things such as "you have a few hours left to take the deal otherwise it's gone" (the next day the deal was still available). He was in general quite childish and unprofessional in the manner in which he spoke to us - "come on girls now, anyone awake" and his standard of english was poor for someone working in the high end service industry. I wish we had acted on the warning signs, don't make the same mistake as us, find someone who is worth the money!
