  Kwik Fit and our vacation to England. December 31st, 2017 Dear Kwik Fit people, When it is New Year times, many souvenirs come back to my memory. I have a story that I wanted to tell you for a very long time. My husband and I, we are French Canadian senior citizens who were in England last summer. After a week in London, we were ready to start our trip by car to Devonshire on July 20th, 2017. We got a car from a hire-a-car company. We were on our way to Torquay coming from around Westminster area in London. I was the driver and as you can imagine, I was quite nervous to drive 1) on the right side of the road (of course) and 2) with a manual transmission. After half an hour, I started to be more comfortable with my driving, we were on a big avenue and the traffic was just right. Suddenly, we were stopped by the police because there was a big accident ahead. Policemen guided the traffic through small streets nearby. The streets were quite narrow from my foreigner`s point of view. I got really nervous again. And then it happened, right at the corner of Nansen and Stormont roads in London: we got a flat tire! Not a big deal but there was no spare tire! We called the AA to get help. It took much more than the 15 minutes announced initially because the AA person had to get through the police barrage to reach us! He put a spare tire on the car and guided us to Kwik Fit Plus Wandsworth on Armoury Way. This AA person explained to Kwik Fit people what was going on. Then Kwik Fit people took care of the situation. They called the hire-a-car company because the tire was completely finished. As soon as they got the OK from the Hire-a-car, they put a new tire and we were able to get back on the road to Torquay. We were very happy of the help we received from both AA and Kwik Fit people. But the story didn’t end there. The next day, in Torquay, I started to look for my purse where I had put my Canadian passport and few credit cards. No trace of my purse… What did I do with my purse? Then I remembered that I probably had left it in the Kwik Fit restrooms. So I called Kwik Fit Wandsworth and I explained my new problem! In the afternoon, I finally got in touch with James. He told me that they just found my purse! I was so glad to hear that because getting a new passport is not an easy thing when you are in another country! James was so nice that I even asked him if he would accept to keep my purse till we got back to London on the following week. He accepted so we were able to continue our vacation in Devonshire and Cornwall. The next week we were back to Kwik Fit, Armoury Way in London. James was there and he gave me back my purse. So, I can say that KwikFit especially James transformed a trip that could have been a nightmare into a dream with few adventures! Thank you , Thank you Twice! James and the team at Kwik Fit!   I called Wandsworth KwikFit to book in for an interim service only to be told that they do not offer interim services, only full services. Funnily enough, interim services are offered by KwikFit and according to their website, they are a fraction of the full service price. So the gentleman on the phone either did not know what he was doing or was trying to rip me off by taking the more expensive service. I decided to go elsewhere. KwikFit - you have lost another loyal customer.
