  Buy from DFS - No! Don't do it... At 50 years of age I have had many and varied retail experiences to date. However, I can unequivocally highlight DFS Enfield Branch as being among the most dire of them all. My wife and I bought a four seat Sofa and accent chair from DFS. The sofa was in store and the chair was on order. The sofa was to be delivered 12/12/2017...no one turned up. I re-arranged delivery for the 17/12/2017, DFS turned up but said they could only get the sofa in if they removed the arms but they did not have tools. re-arranged delivery for the 17/12/2017 whereupon contractors turned up and installed the sofa without dismantling in under 3 minutes. Although an arm was loose and a rear leg was extremely dodgy taking the contractor a number of attempts to screw into the sofa. The accent chair was delivered on the 23/12/2017 as promised and on time...perfect! Only it was a completely different fabric to the Sofa. Now I'm not being silly here; I fully understand the notion of an "Accent Chair!" however, the fabric was nothing like the fabric on the chair displayed in store. The chair and fabric on which we had based our choice. On contacting DFS about these issues along with photographs, they actually tried to fob us off that the colors were identical and it was just light and positioning that was the issue...unbelievable! Arthur Daley himself would be proud! Needless to say the issue remains unresolved and I am still waiting for a manager to contact me in this regard. Not impressed with DFS! ...(which should be their slogan), in my opinion after this experience DFS are a below par, sell it at all costs, fly by night sorry excuse for a retail dealership. If you are in the market for a new sofa try Gumtree instead, you stand a better chance of getting what you actually want on time and without hassle, double speak and scant disregard for customer experience
