  I am giving the Tapas area this rating from my experience on Saturday 17/03/2018 if we had a line of 'raspberries'' I would have given 5 of them. Waitrose if you are going to provide this service, then it should be manned by staff who can cope. Saturday my husband and I dropped in to shop and have a snack before hand, two people on this section, a young girl who seemed at a lost as to what she should do, young man who took our order, and then disappeared, leaving the girl on her own, she started to prepare our food, then noticed that people were waiting from drinks (came in after us) she went to serve them, and continued to do so, when she served someone near us, I asked about getting more staff all she did was shrug, I told her I would get someone and I went off in search, eventually I did, not that she wanted to go on this section. Then SUPER GIRL arrived, I say SUPER GIRL because she is, all the tables were cleared, washing sorted rubbish tidied away, and the other two girls kicked into gear, well not top gear, but better. Waitrose, please sort this as we really enjoy our snack and champers before a shop. When I contacted Waitrose to log my issues, young man who took the call and after I told him what had happened on Saturday, he asked and I quote 'What do you want me to do?.....Hello!!!! At that I could have lost it, but told him politely, to sort the issues, I raised, after the call I felt that I was on to a lost cause, never say die, will pop in again and see.
